Homeward bound
After having spent most of the year reporting from the U.S., I’m really looking forward to wrapping up here and going home. I miss living near friends and family, and plan to settle in Sydney permanently from mid-December onwards.
My year in the U.S. has been an invaluable experience. I’ve attended a few conferences, met several very nice people, and got to see some very cool robotics research in action on a prestigious university campus.
Many thanks to the team at Haymarket for the opportunity to contribute from overseas, and for being so pleasant to work remotely with.
Yet another facelift
I recently was commissioned to build an online catalogue for a medical start-up in Singapore. It was my first experience with Wordpress, and I was immensely impressed by its simplicity, power and ease of use.
So enamoured was I that when the project was over, I had to have a Wordpress-powered site of my own. So here it is

Live from San Francisco
I’m temporarily reporting from San Francisco to get a first-hand taste of Silicon Valley.
The city suits me very well. Why haven’t we got Yelp, Google Maps for public transport and fast, cheap Internet connections in Sydney?

I have settled into my new home in Las Vegas and am ready to dive into science and technology news from here!
